Butler’s Go-To Car Wrap Specialists

Change the color of your car for a unique look

Transform the Look of Your Vehicle Without Permanent Changes

Vinyl wrap gives your vehicle a fresh new appearance while avoiding the cost and commitment of a full paint respray. It’s the smart way to update your vehicle’s style. No long-term paint shop delays, no risky value drops, and no high price tags that often come with repainting.

Choosing a wrap means total design freedom. If you ever want to change it up, just peel it off and start fresh. Whether you want a full-color change or just add a few custom accents, vinyl wraps offer flexibility and protection in one package.

Want to protect your factory paint from daily wear like rock chips? You might be more interested in Paint Protection Film (PPF), which we also offer. And if you need window tint, we can also help you with that.

You’ll have access to a huge range of color and texture choices—everything from matte and satin to chrome and color-shifting finishes. If you drive a white sedan and dream of glossy red, or want to black out your roof and mirrors, it’s all possible.

We can also apply a ceramic coating over the vinyl wrap for even more shine, protection, and make maintenance even easier!

Why Car Wraps Are a Game-Changer

Here’s why color changing wraps are such a popular choice:

Change Up the Look (Temporarily)
Vinyl wraps let you completely change your car’s color for years. It’s a commitment-free way to refresh your style. Whether it’s a full color change or just wrapping the hood and roof, you have the freedom and creativity.

Keep the Original Paint Safe
Although color is the main benefit, wrapping your vehicle will give your paint a layer of protection (not as strong as PPF but it’s still protection). Rock chips, light scratches, and even bird droppings stay off the original paint.

Your Car, Your Style
With hundreds of textures, finishes, and shades available, the only limit is your imagination. High-gloss black, brushed aluminum, or even vibrant, color-shifting film—the choice is all yours.

Car Wrap FAQs

  • While both are popular film options, they serve different purposes:

Vinyl Wraps: Primarily used to change color or add style accents. It offers some protection, but its main appeal is customization. Whether you’re doing a chrome delete or going full color change, the film is flexible, removable, and relatively thin.

Paint Protection Film (PPF): PPF is thicker, stronger, and focused on preventing physical damage like rock chips and scratches. New options even offer colored PPF, so now you can have protection and a color change in one go—though with fewer colors available.

  • When applied and removed properly, no. Vinyl is paint-safe, especially when quality film is used. However, wraps left on for too long or exposed to harsh conditions can become tough to remove.

  • Timing depends on your vehicle and what parts you want wrapped. A hood wrap can take as little as two hours. A full wrap? Plan for two to four days. We often remove trim and panels to wrap around edges, which makes for a longer process—but a much cleaner finish.

Larger vehicles like trucks or SUVs will take longer than smaller ones due to the surface area and complexity of the design.

  • We work with high-quality wrap film from trusted brands like Avery Dennison, 3M, Inozetek, KPMF, and more. Each brand has its own strengths and offers a wide range of colors and finishes.

Not sure which color works best? When you visit us in Butler, we’ll show you sample swatches and help you see exactly how they look against your vehicle’s paint.

  • You can expect a well-installed wrap to last about 3 to 5 years or more depending on conditions. If your vehicle is always outdoors, exposed to heat and weather, the wrap will wear faster than if it’s garage-kept.

Another factor is installation quality. Poor edge work, lifted corners, or trapped dirt will shorten the life of the film. At Inspire Automotive Design, we make sure your wrap is done right so it holds up for the long run.

When a wrap is left on too long, it becomes brittle and tough to remove. That’s why we recommend changing it out once it starts to show wear, based on the above criteria.
